In the States for a visit!!

Hello everyone! We are currently in the States for a visit before returning to Panama in March. It was nice to spend Christmas with the family and absolutely hilarious watching Marisol play in the snow for the first time! We are excited to announce that we will be speaking at South Bend First Church of the Nazarene on February 7th. We will be sharing what God has done in Panama for the past 6 months, and what will be happening when we return in March, including our plans for a ministry operating location in Suzy's village. The following week, we will be traveling to Oasis Church in St. Francis, Arkansas to serve and also to share about Panama! (Oasis Kids, you guys rock!!!) Please be praying for safe travel and for connections to be made as we continue sharing our vision for Panama with everyone! Another thing worthy of mention is the possibility of having a medical mission in Suzy's village this summer. We are not sure when, if ever, was the last time something like this has been done there before. Please be praying for everything to come together so we can give some much needed medical assistance to the folks in Pintupo!

Welcome to our new Passion-Panama blog!

Thank you for visiting the new Passion-Panama blog. Here we will be posting all the latest updates, photos and even videos. We are so excited about all that has been happening in Panama. We recently partnered with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) so that together, we are able to open doors to ministry in ways that will have a greater impact on lives. For those who are new to our ministry, we would like to say welcome! For those of you who are already a part of our ministry we would like to say thank you!

Plans for a ministry operating location in Suzy's home village of Pintupo are under way. We are also hoping to bring a medical team into the village this summer as well as many teams of young people with a desire to make a difference to touch lives with Bible schools, English classes, mercy missions, etc. We also have a unique opportunity to take a class on Gospel contextualization--that is how to bring the Good News to indigenous people groups, like the Kuna, in a way that they can understand. It involves getting indigenous people to write worship music and perform it using their tribal dances and instruments as well as storytelling for oral learners, and much more. God has placed in our hearts a passion for the Kuna people! It is our hope that they will come to know Him in a personal way, all the while keeping their identity as one of the most unique and beautiful people groups in the world!
